Birth Place: Tolosa, Guipúzcoa, Spain

Commonly known as Periko, he was a Spanish footballer and coach. He was a midfielder like his two sons, Mikel and Xabi. Periko retired from playing in 1988 and began coaching. He retired from coaching in 2000.
